Publications of the German Shakespeare Society

On this page you will find information on the online and print publications of the German Shakespeare Society:

The Shakespeare Jahrbuch is one of the leading publications in international Shakespeare research; however, it is not only aimed at specialists. It contains academic articles in German and English, an extensive list of reviews and reports on Shakespeare productions in German-speaking countries. It documents the work of the society and at the same time provides a discussion forum for fundamental questions of literary studies. The annual report published in the yearbook documents the activities of the Shakespeare Society. The Shakespeare Yearbook is a peer-reviewed journal; it has been included in the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH Plus). Members receive the yearbook free of charge (at the spring conference or by post). It can also be bought at a price of €50.00.

Shakespeare Seminar Online

It documents lectures held as part of the Shakespeare Seminar, which takes place during the Shakespeare Days.
