The German Shakespeare Foundation was established to promote a lively engagement with Shakespeare’s works now and in the future. The foundation’s assets are used to support the work of the Shakespeare Society and to award the Martin Lehnert Prize for outstanding achievements in Shakespeare research and the Shakespeare Scholarship. You can support the work of the German Shakespeare Foundation by making a donation or endowment to the foundation’s assets.

In addition to your address, please also note in the purpose of use whether you wish to make a donation or an endowment to the foundation’s assets. Up to an amount of €200.00, a printout of the booking confirmation or a copy of the bank statement will serve as proof for the tax office. For donations over €200.00, you will receive a written donation receipt from us.
