Shakespeare and Visuality, Weimar on October 7-9, 2026
The Bergen-Hamar Shakespeare Network (BHSN) would like to invite speakers to a conference on the topic of Shakespeare and visuality, to take place in Weimar on October 7-9, 2026.
The BHSN is a research network founded by Professor Stuart Sillars in Bergen in 2006, arranging yearly conferences ever since. Their website contains information about past conferences, publications and more, and can be found here: https://bvshakespearenet.wordpress.com/
This year’s conference has a departure in Professor Sillars’s work on Shakespeare and visuality, in books such as Painting Shakespeare (CUP, 2006) and Shakespeare and Visual Imagination (CUP, 2015).
