WHAT IS THE SHAKESPEARE ACADEMY?
The Shakespeare Academy is a student workshop organised by the German Shakespeare Association to engage young scholars on the annual conference topic. Any bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD student is welcome! While the workshop itself is at the heart of the Shakespeare Academy, our aim is to create a community of young scholars who share an interest in teaching, research, or just want to try something new.

WHAT DOES THE ACADEMY DO?
Each year we read a play which we discuss and create presentations in different working groups. The workshop will be followed by attending the Shakespeare-Tage, the annual conference of the German Shakespeare Association.
