The German Shakespeare Society regularly provides impulses to awaken students’ interest in Shakespeare research. As a rule, a Shakespeare study day sponsored by the German Shakespeare Society is held at a university once a year. This year, such a study day is planned at the University of Bamberg. After a long interruption, the German Shakespeare Society is once again able to offer its members the opportunity to attend a week of theater in Stratford with four performances by the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
